Standing-room-only public hearing yields mixed responses

GALLUP — In the end, it was Attorney Bob Rosebrough’s plea which helped sway the Gallup City Council’s unanimous decision Tuesday to reject a local businessman’s request to open a discount liquor and convenience store at the corner of Maloney Avenue and Ninth Street.
